Tribeca Grand Hotel offers 203 guestrooms with large windows and minimalist decor in an eight-story building. Platform beds are dressed with Frette Italian linens. Large, built-in desks have ergonomic chairs, task lights, two-line cordless telephones, and fax/copy machines. (There are bedside and bathroom telephones, also.) Bathrooms contain stainless-steel vanities, shower/tub combinations, European toiletries, and Frette Italian bathrobes.
Wireless Internet access is complimentary in Deluxe rooms and Grand rooms. Bose Wave CD player/radios come with a CD library that includes CDs of artists who have stayed in the hotel. The hotel lends complimentary iPods and Bose SoundDock systems (refundable deposit required). The iPods are programmed with music selected by the hotel.
Guests of this New York hotel have a choice of a complimentary New York Times, London Times, USA Today, or Wall Street Journal delivered. Guests may borrow a goldfish, and, if desired, can take it home in a plastic carrier.
For guests with babies and toddlers, the hotel's complimentary Grand Baby Program allows parents to have guestrooms furnished with cribs, protective bumpers, outlet protectors, baby bath kits, and travel totes with baby basics. Additional items are available upon request, including strollers, handy wipes, high chairs, pacifiers, diaper pails, and baby bathrobes.
